Pay, holidays and tax.

International electricians. Employed directly by us.

Momentum-El supplies electricians from abroad to businesses in Denmark. The electricians are employed directly by Momentum El ApS. We take responsibility for fair employment terms and for complying with applicable rules on pay, holidays and tax.

Direct employment

Momentum El ApS is your employer, including when you work at a client’s site. Your employment contract sets out your duties and terms.

Pay and collective agreement

We follow collective agreement terms within the scope of Dansk El-Forbund, the Danish Union of Electricians. Pay, applicable supplements, pension and other entitlements are handled in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and your employment contract. You receive a payslip showing payments and deductions.

Holidays and holiday pay

We handle holidays and holiday pay in accordance with the Danish Holiday Act and applicable collective agreement terms. As a general rule, you earn 2.08 days of paid holiday per month of employment, equivalent to 25 days for a full year. Any additional days off are governed by the relevant terms.

Tax and reporting

As your employer, we report your pay and withhold and remit Danish income tax (A-skat) and labour market contributions (AM-bidrag) in accordance with applicable rules and your tax card. Your tax depends on your personal circumstances. You must ensure that your tax card and annual tax assessment contain correct information.

Qualifications and safety

We review education, experience and relevant qualifications before an assignment. Electrical work requiring authorisation must be carried out under the responsibility of an authorised electrical installation company, with the necessary instruction and supervision.
